Minimum Advertised Price Policy (MAP) – Americas

Printronix Auto ID Minimum Advertised Price Policy (MAP) – Americas

Printronix Auto ID has determined that its brand and communities will be best served through this policy. Printronix defines MAP as suggested retail price (SRP).

Policy Scope

Printronix MAP policy applies to all advertisements of specific Printronix printers in all promotional media such as: flyers, posters, news releases, coupons, mailers, inserts, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, mail order catalogs, Internet (including online advertisements and social media) or similar electronic media, television, radio and public signage.

Product Scope

Printronix has published a current listing of its products and applicable MAP prices. Printronix products not identified are not subject to the MAP policy. At Printronix’s sole discretion, the products and MAP may change. Printronix resellers are responsible for remaining current with the MAP policy, products and pricing. Any advertisement below the MAP establishment will oppose this policy. Each reseller has seven days from the effective date of this communication to ensure they are following the guidelines as outlined hereof.

Policy Agreement

This MAP policy covers all Printronix Power Partner resellers in the United States. Although resellers are free to establish their own resale prices, Printronix will pursue remedies against resellers that advertise applicable Printronix products at prices below those specified. These activities may include:

  • Possible change in the discount level
  • Possible expulsion from the program
  • Possible breach of contract and legal action

Printronix will assess the MAP policy compliance at its sole discretion. In addition, Printronix will consider your adherence to the MAP policy when evaluating your annual application for the Power Partner Program membership.

Policy Amendments

Printronix reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the MAP policy in whole or in part, or designate promotional periods during which the terms of the policy change, or designate periods of time during which the policy is not applicable.
